The rustic Restaurant Pferdestall is housed in the former stables of the counts of Oeynhausen-Sierstorpff built in 1870. The old drinking troughs made of marble and the high vaulted ceiling has been turned into a unique location with cosy atmosphere. In the open-show kitchen, the team under chef Anna Blümel freshly prepare barbecued specialities and typical Westphalian dishes – both small and bigger meals. Long benches offer space for small and larger groups. If you prefer to sit more privately, then sit on a table in the connecting Sattelkammer (tack room) where dogs are welcome. In the beer garden, centuries-old trees give shade and invite guests to spend some time enjoying lunch on hot summer days. In good weather, enjoy the small cosy beer garden under the shade of the old trees behind the stables.
