Trips around the region
The sights around the Teutoburg Forest are just as varied as its culture, landscape and history. Perhaps you would like to visit selected parks and gardens of the OWL Garden Landscape project that have been designated as cultural treasures? Or walk around the ‘monastery region’ (www.kulturland.org/klosterregion) and visit the Klostermuseum in Dalheim? Rheder Castle with its brewery and lovely grounds and the hussar museum are also worth a visit.

Other excellent destinations include the Fürstenberg porcelain manufactory or Schloss Corvey, which is currently being considered for World Heritage status and has a monastery church with the Carolingian west wing dating from 830. The grave of the poet Hoffmann von Fallersleben can also be seen here.

Visit the Hermannsdenkmal monument and walk to the mysterious Externsteine rock formations. If you want to take a tour through 5,000 years of information technology, then you’ll be right at home in the largest computer museum in the world, Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum (HNF) in Paderborn.

All locations are easy to get to from Gräflicher Park. Our team would be happy to help you with any questions you may have and on how to get there, as well as give you some tips on what to do!
